Studying bacteria that
resist radiation to unlock
longevity science.

Texu Labs investigates radiation-resistant microorganisms and the cellular mechanisms behind their extraordinary resilience — with the goal of translating these findings into anti-aging therapeutics.

Research
01
Extremophile Biology
We study bacteria capable of surviving radiation doses lethal to virtually all known life. Their DNA repair mechanisms and antioxidant systems offer a window into cellular resilience at its most extreme.
02
Anti-Aging Applications
Oxidative stress and DNA damage are central drivers of aging. We investigate whether the molecular strategies of radiation-resistant organisms can be adapted to slow or reverse these processes in human cells.
03
Translational Pipeline
Our long-term objective is to build a portfolio of validated molecular targets and compounds with pharmaceutical potential, positioned for licensing or acquisition by major biotech and pharma partners.
04
Open Science Approach
We believe rigorous, reproducible research is the only credible foundation for drug development. Our work is designed for peer review and structured to meet the standards of European public funding bodies.
